  • Research proposal summary (max 2 pages) with: brief background, research hypotheses, objectives, tasks, doctoral programme, partner institutions, supervisory team, type of studentship, potential funding source
  • Motivation letter (outlining interest in developing the thesis at EBM)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Identification document (Citizen Card/ID Card/Passport)
  • Academic degree certificates (final grade and discipline classifications)
  • For foreign degrees: recognition of degrees and conversion to Portuguese grading scale
