Job Purpose
Responsible for Row Crop corn commercial field production. Manages end-to-end Seed Production to meet targets along with regulator interaction and Seed Laws compliance. Responsible for annual OPEX and CAPEX & Production Budgeting Forecasting. Contributor of ~5M Euro to organizational Revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Strategic planning and implementation of plans for current and scale up by 10X in one year with high level skill of industry data/trends
Operational Management:
- Responsible for end-to-end Production (Field to Processing – multi stages) in professional manner with compliance and use of technology to ensure organizational vital objective
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with R&D/Sales/Marketing, Finance & Regulators
Team Leadership:
- Lead & educate Production/Processing team and growers on compliance
Budget Management:
- Develop budget & time to time FC, ensure cost-effectiveness with high quality standards adding value to organizational revenue
- Contributor of ~5M Euro to organizational revenue
Compliance:
- Ensure QA guidance & Seeds Rules with Company’s policies in all activities
Performance Management:
- Oversee Production performance and make informed decisions & quickly adopt market situations
- Risks identification and mitigation plans & alignment with stakeholders
Community Engagement:
- Partners with Row Crop leadership in community and sustainability engagements
- Ensure all operations are compliant with internal Bayer requirements and local regulations
Mechanization:
- Leads the successful execution/development of mechanization initiatives in COE
Stakeholder Relations:
- Manager growers, stakeholder relations to ensure timely effective communication/alignment
Talent Development:
- Focus on talent development by creating an environment that fosters employee growth, an atmosphere of teamwork and partners for safe work environment with standard of engagement
- Accountable for RC field production operation/ SOPs/HSE & QA standards all the time
