Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for hybrid rice seeds, including segmentation, profiling, and market potential analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and farmer feedback for continuous improvement and regular market forecasts
Distributor / Dealer / Commission Agents
- Shall have strong connections with rice hybrid seed dealers for retail sales at farmer level
- Shall have strong connections with distributors within the market to cover smaller dealers
- Shall have strong connections with the commission agents within market to make bulk deals / agreements
Farmer Engagement
- Maintain and expand relationships with progressive rice farmers to develop rice hybrid brands at farmer level through regular visits, field days, and demonstration plots
- Organize farmer seminars, field days, and High-Profile Farmer Meetings (HPFM) in collaboration with regional teams
- Initiate and manage development activities in unexplored high-potential areas
Leadership
- Ability / potential to lead, develop and expand the sales team
