💼 Key Details
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure crop size as per industry demand
- Actively drive and deliver Leaf Strategy for the region in line with PTC business priorities and Global Leaf LoS
- Ensure effective supervision/extension services of the field team to produce the desired style of tobacco through BAT registered farmers
- Implement Regional Strategy aligned with overall Leaf Strategy to ensure business sustainability
- Ensure all required quality parameters in leaf production and supply to buying points as per plan
- Maintain leaf production by organizing seedbed, plantation and production surveys effectively
- Drive and execute agronomy technology interventions and best practices (Growing Excellence) at Area level
- Leverage agronomy technology package to increase farm yield and reduce Cost of Production
- Lead the field force for extension of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) approach for sustainable agriculture
- Organize training and education of field staff and farmers on recommended Agronomic Practices, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and safe use of agricultural chemicals
- Drive motivation and development of field staff and stakeholders
- Drive Integrated Farming System (IFS), Vital Few & Thrive approach for sustainable agriculture
- Lead implementation of best practices and transferring new technology to farmers

Eligibility Criteria
